Griffiths is a well-known and highly regarded company, with an expert workforce. They are a valuable addition to Tarmac, boosting our competitiveness and bringing us closer to customers in key markets. Griffiths’ principal sectors of expertise include highways and bridges, rail, utilities, surfacing, integrated transport, urban regeneration and water management.

They directly employ their own workforce and have an extensive plant fleet. This will strengthen our overall civils and highways customer offer, building upon our own team of expert people, our strategic sites, logistics and operations.

The business has operated for 50 years and has over 700 employees operating out of six regional offices.

Griffiths works with all key clients in their operating area. It has delivered major projects, including the A483 Newtown Bypass, South Bristol Link Road, Llanaber and Barmouth Sea Defences and numerous projects on the M4.
