We teamed up with the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) to host a private dinner in the House of Commons.

The event, entitled Delivering Sustainable Infrastructure: the role of resilient supply chains in promoting British business and achieving maximum value, saw politicians, civil servants and businesses, such as HS2, Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Osbourne, get together to look at public policy challenges.

A Tarmac team lead by Jeremy Greenwood, managing director, National Commercial and infrastructure Construction Solutions, discussed how to deliver the government’s £600bn pipeline of projects between now and 2050.

Jeremy said: “Decisions taken in government around the infrastructure pipeline have a profound impact on how we’re building our future, so it is important that our voice is heard early and clearly.”
